I finally copped a pair of Fieg’s!

I saw this collaboration coming for a few weeks via a few social media accounts and they seemed relatively low down on the hype scale. For me though, these popped. The colours are just unreal and perfectly suited to the summer season. I copped a pair of Puma Disc’s that were from the BAPE collab’ a few months back and I loved the silhouette back then, not to mention how comfy the kicks are. Not just that but there’s been so many pairs of Ronnie Fieg collab’s I missed out on and finally got my chance to get these which I ordered from New York.

Now when you find a pair of sneakers with the name ‘Ronnie Fieg’ on them, it’s automatically classed as a grail in my eyes. Fieg’s name resonates throughout the sneaker game, with potentially the most collaborative products than any other person and this isn’t the first time he has collaborated on a Puma Disc but he has carried over some similar designs that were iconic found previously. The Colette Blue is present on the toe box and also the trinomic sole which gradients to white. This is such a cool feature and the blend keeps the summery tones, with the speckles just adding an extra dimension to the sneaker.

The trainers include some really cool collaborative features. The pull tags on the top of the disc section are co-branded, one shoe takes on Kith’s branding (Ronnie Fieg’s shop in NYC) and the other Colette Paris’. This continues with the insoles and heel tab , both receive the respective companies’ logo/design. The Puma branding has 3M which is a cool feature especially when the light catches it.

These are easily going to be one of my favourite summer kick’s with the vibrant tones suiting a lot of summer ‘fits.
